Eating God 食神
The Eating God, 食神, is what the Day Master produces in the same polarity. It is output with an easy hand: food, craft, a calm idea. It is not the officer, and it is not the self. A chart decides.
How it shows up
Eating God is the work that feels like appetite rather than duty. The person makes something, enjoys it, and does not need the room to clap before the thing exists. Taste is part of it. So is a kind of optimism that is not a speech. In a chart it softens pressure, including the pressure of Seven Killings, because output gives the self somewhere to put what it generates. A chart with no output can feel talented and stuck. A chart with only this god can feel pleasant and unpaid.
How other people meet it
People feel fed. The feeding might be a meal, a design, a joke that lowers the temperature, or a product that is simply good to use. They trust the person who is not performing stress. They may also underestimate them, because ease looks like a lack of ambition to a room that only respects the grind.
